Know your type.
Racket sites organize by brand or price. We organize by how you actually play. Your archetype determines which racket properties matter โ and which ones don't.
Control Builder
You win points by not losing them.
You play from the back, redirect pace, and win through consistency and placement. Power will come with time. Right now you want a racket that doesn't punish you when your technique breaks down.
Baseline Grinder
You build the point before finishing it.
You can generate pace but you're not purely an attacker. You need a racket that lets you grind long rallies and still punish a weak ball. Balance between power and maneuverability is everything.
Net Attacker
You live at the net. You finish points.
You've developed your smash, you move to the net when opportunities arise, and you want maximum power from your overhead. Forgiveness is secondary โ you've earned the right to an aggressive racket.
Tennis Convert
Your backhand is great. The walls are confusing.
You have racket sport experience and solid technique, but padel's walls, court dimensions, and compact swing are new. You need a racket that doesn't feel foreign while you adapt โ familiar weight, familiar feel, forgiving of the adjustment period.
