Bullpadel Hack 03: The budget pick that doesn't feel like one
Under €100 and it doesn't embarrass itself. That's rarer than it sounds.
The padel budget segment is full of rackets that feel like toys — too light, too flexy, feedback that tells you nothing. The Hack 03 doesn't do that. It plays like a racket.
The teardrop shape sits between control and power, which at this price point means it's reasonably competent at both rather than excellent at either. The EVA foam core is softer than what you'll find in mid-range rackets, which helps with forgiveness on mishits but limits the pop on clean strikes. For the intermediate player who doesn't want to spend €150 yet, this is exactly what it sounds like: a decent racket at a fair price.
The honest ceiling is two years. If you're playing twice a week, you'll outgrow the power ceiling before you outgrow the build quality. The Hack 04 is the natural next step and the price jump is justifiable — but don't rush it just because someone told you to.
