Bullpadel Vertex 04: The power ceiling with a margin for error
Almost as much ceiling as the Metalbone. Considerably less punishment.
Six months of community data on the Vertex 04 has settled into a clear picture. It occupies a real niche: high power output without the brutal feedback loop of the hardest diamond rackets. Players who found the Metalbone HRD rewarding but physically taxing over long sessions have moved here.
The diamond shape gives it the smash quality advanced players want. The Bullpadel-specific foam layup softens the impact slightly compared to full-carbon faces — you feel the hit, not just the result. Over a three-hour club session, the difference is real.
The trade-off is a modest control ceiling. Precision placement from the back is harder than on round or teardrop options. If you're playing a net-dominant game and most of your points end with overheads, the Vertex 04 is right. If you're still building from the baseline often, drop a category.
