Wilson Bela Elite: Pro racket, playable by humans

VERDICT

Lebron plays a different version. This one is actually usable.

There's an important distinction the Wilson marketing doesn't make loud enough: the Bela Elite sold retail is not what Fernando Belasteguín plays. The pro version is customised. The retail version is tuned for playability at advanced-amateur level — and it's very good at that.

The diamond shape delivers genuine power without the punishment of the Metalbone HRD. The sweet spot is smaller than a teardrop but more forgiving than the hardest-core diamond options. Players reporting 4+ hours per week at advanced club level consistently rate it as a top-three racket in its category.

The update: Wilson has addressed the previous model's durability concern around the frame at the throat. The 2025 batch appears to have fixed the delamination issue some players reported. If you bought an early run and noticed bubbling near the bridge, that's a warranty claim — Wilson has been honouring it.
